Dr Jan Rydfors
Dr. Jan Rydfors is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) who received his medical degree and specialty training from Stanford University Medical Center. He has been practicing for over 20 years and has delivered thousands of babies. In addition to his busy clinical practice, he also has a long-standing interest in medical education and is the recipient of multiple awards for his teaching. He has a clinical faculty position at Stanford University Medical Center and co-wrote the popular Handbook in Obstetrics and Gynecology, now in its sixth edition and which has been translated into several languages. He grew up all over the world and speaks five languages including English, French, Spanish, Swahili, and Mandarin. Dr Rydfors lives in Silicon Valley with his wife and two daughters.
Dr Aron Schuftan
Dr. Aron Schuftan is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) who received his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and his specialty training from Boston Medical Center. He has been an obstetrician for nearly a decade and has delivered countless babies. He has teamed up with Dr. Rydfors and together they have a busy high-risk obstetrics practice in Silicon Valley. In addition to his busy work, he is an avid traveler and photographer. Dr. Schuftan has lived in five continents and has traveled to over 40 countries. He has a special interest in using technology to empower today’s tech-savvy patients with sound medical knowledge and peace of mind. His love for obstetrics started at the age of 17, when he delivered twins while doing volunteer work in Ethiopia.
Dr Rydfors and Dr Schuftan have put their many years of experience as obstetricians and as teachers into a very innovative and user-friendly iPhone application (‘app’) with fun and important information for all women during pregnancy and labor.
Dr Rydfors and Dr Schuftan have together over 25 years of experience caring for pregnant women. They have a busy private practice in Silicon Valley, California, where they specialize in high risk obstetrics and infertility treatment.
